Technologies/Amenities and Noncovered Services (TANCS) Fee

In order to provide the personalized service you deserve in an environment that is comfortable and pleasing, I have designed this practice to improve accessibility, foster communication and lead to better health outcomes for you, the patient:

• I limit the number of patients in the practice to approximately 1/3 of the number seen in a typical primary care office.
• You can book your own appointments online.
• You are able to contact me directly by secure online messaging, text or phone 24/7 with rare exceptions due to illness, holiday or vacation.
• Office visits are relaxed and unhurried and there is plenty of time to cover all your health concerns and questions.

This high level of service, convenience and accessibility is not covered or reimbursed by insurance companies. Thus, there will be a TANCS Fee to all patients. This charge covers office amenities, advanced access via technology and other services performed outside of office visits that are NOT covered by your insurance company. This TANCS Fee will not be reimbursed by your health plan, although you may be able to use funds from a Medical Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account to pay for it.

The TANCS Fee will be charged per patient. The fee will be waved for patients aged 16 or younger, if an adult member of their family is also a patient of the practice. The current TANCS fee is $250 for the first member of a household and $200 for the second. This fee is due immediately and will cover 365 days.
